Due to the outstanding achievements of the College in the construction of ASEANTVETplatforms, promotion of international vocational education standards, and overseas vocational and technical training, fromJanuary14th to18th, atthe invitation of the Southeast Asian Minister of Education, President Li Wenyong and his team of threewent to Cambodia to participate in the first ChinaSoutheast Asia International Technical Education Cooperation Summit and Award Ceremony.The College has been awarded the title ofOutstanding Collaborative Partner, Professor Mo Xiaononghas been awarded the title of Outstanding Project Management, and Teacher Wen Shaochun has been awarded the title of Exemplary Dedication Teaching. It is the onlyChinese the College to have wonthreeinternational awards, reflecting the high recognition of our international education level in the field of vocational education in Southeast Asia and the profound influence of the College in the field of vocational education in Southeast Asia.

This conference isguidedby the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, the Southeast Asian Education Ministers Organization (SEAMEO), and the ChinaASEAN Technical Education Cooperation Platform (CATECP), and hostedby the Southeast Asian Education Ministers Organization Technical Education Development Regional Center (SEAMEO TED). The conferenceincludes project construction experience sharing, cooperation negotiations, and government awards, aiming to broaden the cooperation and exchange methods in the entire field ofChinaASEAN vocational education, build a comprehensive cooperation and exchange platform for ChinaASEAN vocational education, share and discuss practical experience and future cooperation development, and promote innovation and development of education in the region.

During thetrip abroad, President Liand his delegationvisitedthe National PolytechnicInstituteof Cambodia(NPIC), National Technical Training Institute of Cambodia (NTTI), Hun Sen Shang Puwang High School, and Vocational High School to learn about the teaching facilities, international cooperation models, and international project operations of the threeinstitutions. They also carried out enrollment promotion and cooperation negotiations for international students.President Li pointed out that in the future, the College willcontinue to deepen international cooperation in educationaroundChina-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship, cultural exchange brand projects, and studying abroad in China, and promote the deepening and implementation of vocational education cooperation towards ASEAN.
