The 21st China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit were held from September 24th to 28th, focusing on the theme “Upholding amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness for common development, creating a diamond crown new future-promoting development of a China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0 and high-quality growth of this region”,showcasing the latest achievements in cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.

On September 26th, BÙI MẠNH LÂN,Chairman of Dong An Vocational College of Vietnam, visitedGTVTCto promote cooperation withour collegeduring the ASEAN Expo. Li Wenyong, President of GTVTCextended a warm welcome to Chairman Bùi Mạnh Lân and his delegation.Theyhad in-depth discussions on the establishment of the China-Vietnam Institute of Modern Craftsmanship for New Energy Vehicle.Theyfully communicated on the specific tasks of the construction and signed a cooperation agreement to jointly build theChina-Vietnam Institute of Modern Craftsmanship for New Energy Vehicle.

On September 23rd, a delegation from University of Transport TechnologyofVietnam, Vietnam Taiping Hing Sheng Company, and Guangxi Auto gathered atGTVTCto sign a memorandum of understanding of the modern craftsmanship training program for new energy vehicles at the Kunlun Campus.PresidentLi Wenyong attended the signing ceremony and proposed that both sides collaborate to establish a transportation science and technology innovation centeranda talent cultivation base, andexchange teachers for study. This is not only an important part of promoting vocational education exchange and cooperation between China and Vietnam but also a significant measure in building a China-Vietnam community with a shared future. On September 24th,a delegation of 5 people led byDr. SRUN Pagnarith,Deputy Director oftheDepartment of Science, TechnologyandInnovation of the Ministry of Industry, Science, TechnologyandInnovationofCambodia,Dr. LENG Phirom, Vice President ofCambodian University of Science and Technology, along with leaders from Huawei, to visit GTVTC. Theyvisitedthetraining room of Schoolof Transportation Information Engineeringanddiscussed the application of new-generation information technology, big data, and artificial intelligence in the field of transportation. They expressed their hope to send teachers toGTVTCfor technical training to assist in the upgrading of traditional industries and the cultivation of information technology talent in Cambodia.

On September 25th, during theChina-ASEAN Expo, a delegation of 4 people led bySinthavone Daravong, Vice President of the National University of Laos visited GTVTC. They focused on inspecting the teaching workshop of theSchool of Road and Bridge Engineeringand the practical training base of theSchool of Automotive Engineering. Theyhad in-depth exchanges with Li Wenyong, President of GTVTC.
PresidentLi Wenyong extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the National University of Laosandexpressedhis hope totakethis opportunity to promote cooperation betweenboth sidesin three aspects: the cultivation of international students, transportation technology innovation, and the training of transportation technology and skilled personnel, topromotethe cultivation of transportation talent in China and Laos. Bothsidesshould leverage their scientific research strengths to jointly carry out research on cutting-edge transportation technologies, and to jointly promote innovation and development in the transportation industry, serving the construction of the China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
