The First Spring Festival Celebration Seminar for International Students Was Held

On January 22, 2020 (28th of the 12th month of the lunar calendar), the New Year Celebration Seminar for international students of 2019 was held in room 707, information building, Yuanhu campus. Responsible persons of International Affairs Division, Academic Affairs Department, Party Committee work Department, Personnel Department, School Office, Finance Department, Logistics and Asset management Department, Youth League Committee attended the symposium.

At the meeting, Mo Xiaonong, director of the International Affairs Division, on behalf of the college, extended new year's greetings to all international students and placed great hopes on them. She hoped that international students would improve their awareness of risk prevention and pay attention to their personal, property and traffic safety; And she also encouraged students should seize the opportunity, strive to develop their talents, and comprehensively improve their personal quality which provides good conditions for the development of their future.At the same time,it is needed to make good use of the language environment and learning resources, conduct more exchanges and communication, learn more about China's development achievements, experience and practices, and play a positive role in developing friendly international exchanges in the future.

Other participants introduced the customs of the Spring Festival to the international students, taught them the Spring Festival greetings, and sent Spring Festival wishes to the international students in turn,hoping them will succeed in their studies in the next year.

The international students thanked the leaders and teachers for their teaching and care, and said that it was their first time to experience the Spring Festival in China. They were very excited. At the end of the meeting, they sang a song "Happy New Year" to express their good wishes to teachers.
