In the morning of December 2nd, the first Chinese Classics Reading Competition for International Students was successfully concluded on the first floor of library in Yuanhu Campus. With the support of the General Education Department, national Putonghua tester Lu Xiaole acted as the lead judge, the teachers of international students as the judge. And teachers and students of ASEAN International School attended this activity.      

The purpose of this competition is to select outstanding students to participate in the regional competition, improve the students' oral Chinese proficiency, exercise their Chinese expression ability, and stimulate students' learning enthusiasm and team spirit. The vice dean of ASEAN International School delivered a speech, hoping that international students should not only learn professional knowledge, but also actively study traditional Chinese culture to enrich their study experience in China.

With an active atmosphere, the wonderful competition won the applause of the judges and students. During the competition, there were alsorepresentatives of Chinesestudentswho exchanged language  learning with the international students. The chief judge gave a brief and concise comment after the competition, by which everyone benefited greatly. After the activity, the international students said that through this competition, they deepened their understanding of Chinese culture again, and exercised their Chinese proficiency. Everyone had a different degree of harvest.
