On March 18, the 2021 University Education opening work was held in Beibu Gulf University. On behalf of the school, Vice dean Chen Haifeng made a speech on the exchange of experience of international cooperation in running schools entitled "The Road of international development of TVET of introducing from west, integrating in China and applying in ASEAN".

There were157 representatives from 77 colleges and universities in charge of foreign affairs, the director of the Office of International Affairs and the dean of the School of International Education attended this conference. Among them, 3 undergraduate colleges and 2 vocational colleges made experience exchange speeches. Li Yongqi, deputy director of the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Huang Zhenxi, director of the international Administration Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's Foreign Affairs Office, attended the conference.

Vice dean Chen Haifeng made a typical speech entitled "Exchange of Experience in International Cooperative Education ----" The Road to the internationalization Development of TVET of introducing from west, integrating in China and applying in ASEAN", closely following the theme of the conference, and shared with the participating universities from four aspects: The first is the educational background. Relying on the professional advantages of "Transportation", our college took the opportunity of "TVET Cooperation" and other road development projects in western China jointly launched by the Ministry of Transportation and the Canadian International Development Agency. In 2005, GTVTC took the lead in international cooperation in Guangxi. Second, practices and results. With "Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools" and "TVET technology services" as the starting point, GTVTC has established Internationalization of TVET and integration of production and education development model of "Introducing from west, integrating in China and applying in ASEAN". In 2019, our college won the Special prize of Guangxi Vocational Education and Teaching Results. Third, summary of experience. Guided by scientific planning and clear development positioning, the internationalization of GTVTC focuses on precise policy implementation and project implementation. In the process of co-construction and sharing, GTVTC build a development community. Fourth, development prospects, though still in the global epidemic spreading, China has been closing its doors to foreigners, but GTVTC will adjust the development direction and strategy flexibly, on the basis of "promotion", " integrating in China" as the target, “ applying in ASEAN”as the content to overcome the negative impact of the outbreak of international cooperation in running schools, expand the scale of development, promote the connotation construction, and output Chinese standards.

At the meeting, deputy director Li Yongqi summarized the work of opening-up of education in Guangxi during the 13th Five Year Plan period, analyzed the current situation of the opening-up of education in Guangxi, and deployed the work of opening-up of education during the 14th Five Year Plan period. Director Huang Zhenxi made a special report and interactive interpretation to the participants on the foreign affairs work system of 2021, such as the approval of college teachers going abroad on business and the requirements for holding international conferences, so as to provide detailed guidance for colleges and universities to do foreign affairs work such as visits and international conferences.
