On April 21, Beijing time at 10:00 AM, the international webinar of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education organization(SEAMEO) was held via video conference, with the secretary general of the SEAMEO, the director of the SEAMEO, the consultant and the director of Education of Cambodia Vocational Education and Training Center, and more than 200 representatives from the ASEAN education community from China, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries attending .

On behalf of GTVTC, principal,Wen Liyong at the meeting made a keynote speech on "the road to vocational education revitalization in the post-epidemic era -- Taking Guangxi Transport Vocational And Technical College as an example", and shared our experience and wisdom in dealing with the crisis and challenges in the post epidemic era from two aspects closely linking to the international situation impacted by the epidemic. First ,online education guarantees the teaching carry out orderly under the outbreak of pandemic; Second, we need to make steady progress in international cooperation in the face of the epidemic with flexible responses, strive to reduce the adverse impact of the epidemic on international cooperation, and open up a new situation of international exchanges in the post-epidemic era.

The moderator of the seminar, Dr. Hessel, secretary general of the ASEAN Ministers of Education organization, highly praised the speech of principal Li Wenyong. He said that in the face of the objective difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, GTVTC met difficulties head-on, took the initiative to innovate, explored a new mode of vocational education and cooperation in the post-epidemic era, and made remarkable achievements, providing valuable experience for Southeast Asia's TVET. After the speech, people there had a free exchange and discussed the possibilities of future inter-school cooperation.

Through this ASEAN International Webinar, GTVTC fully demonstrated the educational strength of our college to the ASEAN education community, and established a good image, further enhanced the international reputation of our college, and laid a good foundation for the subsequent recruitment of international students.
