On September 28, the "2021 Third Annual Meeting of China-ASEAN Transportation Vocational Education Alliance" hosted by the National Transport Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee, China-ASEAN Transportation Vocational Education Alliance, Autonomous Region Education Department and Autonomous Region Transport Department was held in Nanning. Wang Yimin, vice chairman of the National Transport Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee, Hu Huaping, deputy director-generalof the Autonomous Region Transport Department Party member, school principal Li Wenyong, Vice dean Chen Haifeng and the leaders of the alliance of colleges and universities and transport industry enterprise leaders to attend the annual meeting, which was chaired by the GTVTC vice dean Chen Zhengzhen.

The opening speech of the annual meeting was delivered by principal Li Wenyong. Principal Li, on behalf of the school, extended a warm welcome to the leaders of various units and enterprises and guests. He also introduced the basic information of GTVTC and the college’s active response to the "Belt and Road" Initiative by relying on the China-ASEAN Transportation Vocational Education Alliance. And GTVTC has made achievements in broadening the field of international (regional) cooperation, building the model of integrated development of industry and education, and outputting technical services to ASEAN. He also expressed that GTVTC would take this opportunity to strengthen the exchanges with the brother colleges and cooperative enterprises, make full use of the unique geographical advantages of coastal province to seize the development opportunities, and further expand the cooperative relations with the universities and institutions of ASEAN countries. Then GTVTC will work together with the council units of the alliance to contribute to promoting the development of China- ASEAN TVET of transportation cooperation, and jointly build the China-ASEAN vocational education community!
Principal Li is making an opening speech
In his speech at the annual meeting, Hu Huaping, party member and deputy director of the Department of Transportation of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, under the guidance of building a "transportation power", Guangxi has initially built a "Four-in-0ne" modern transportation pattern with the inter-dynamic development of the river and sea, sea-rail combined transportation, advancing both by land and water, and the traffic connection of airport. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, Guangxi will be built into a "transportation province" with "leading in the country and leading in the west", which will bring unprecedented new opportunities for the development of transportation vocational education. Regarding the future development of transportation vocational education, he proposed that: first, TVET of transportation should make new efforts in serving the economic transformation and upgrading, serving the innovative development strategy, and promoting and supporting the "Belt and Road"; Second, the main bodies should "jointly hold together for warmth", share and learn from international exchange and cooperation experience, integrate resources, complement each other's advantages, further promote the integration of industry and education, academic and technological exchanges between enterprises of China and ASEAN countries, and promote the formulation and promotion of "Chinese standards"; Third, it is necessary to join hands with colleges and universities in ASEAN countries to expand cultural exchanges, strengthen personnel training, promote the common development of China-ASEAN TVET of transportation, and provide intellectual support for regional transport undertakings.

Professor Wang Yimin, expressed warm congratulations on the holding of the annual meeting, introduced the efforts and achievements made by the National Teaching Steering Committee for Transportation Vocational Education in promoting the balanced development of TVET as well as the construction of a transportation power, and affirmed the work of the Secretariat of the Guangxi Teaching Steering Committee for Transportation Vocational Education. He pointed out that the intersection of history has created unprecedented new opportunities and challenges for the TEVT of transportation to service economic and social development. It is necessary to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with ASEAN countries to open up new brilliance for the TVET of transportation .
Du Juan, deputy secretary of the Party committee of Guizhou Communication Vocational College, made the 2021 work report and 2022 work suggestions on behalf of China-ASEAN Transportation Vocational Education Alliance. The organizing committee interpreted the 2021 China-ASEAN Transportation Vocational Education Alliance Micro-Course Teaching Competition and the Chinese Traditional Culture Exhibition Competition for International Students.
Yu Xiaoyan, deputy director of the Cooperation and Exchange Center of Zhejiang Institute of Communications, explained the release process of professional standards for international student talent training in the link of "Belt and Road" Transportation Industry Talent Training Seminar on the Construction of International Education Digital Resource Database; The technical side of resource database construction introduces the platform function; The transportation vocational colleges and enterprises of the Alliance shared their opinions and exchanged views on how to carry out international exchanges and cooperation and resource database construction of the Alliance in the post epidemic era.
It is reported that the China-ASEAN Transportation Vocational Education Alliance was established in November 2018, and its members include more than 30 units such as transportation vocational colleges, enterprises and social organizations in China and ASEAN countries. The alliance takes the "Belt and Road" initiative as its main objective, actively responds to the national call, helps China's TVET of transportation "Go Global", and promotes the common development of TVET of transportation in China and ASEAN countries. Based on the principle of "extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits", this annual meeting aims to promote the alliance members to work together, learn from each other and develop in a coordinated manner, and jointly build a beautiful blueprint for the opening up of TVET of transportation .
