On January 29th,ASEAN International School organized all the international students to go to Xixiangtang District to hold a healthy outdoor celebration to welcoming the New Year and social practice activities with Dean Mo Xiaonong, vice dean Huang Gang, Yan Li and some teachers of ASEAN International School attending for relieving the anxiety of international students due to the long-term closed-off management, and letting the students jointly welcome the Chinese New Year Festival of 2022.The activity began with a symposium. In the symposium, students talked about their learning and life experience, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to GTVTC, the school and all the teachers, and shared their learning harvest and experience. Most of them showed great confidence in the HSK exam which they would take in March. The students are very satisfied with theoutdoor activity. And they personally appreciated the charm and cultural deposits of the Chinese countryside with deep feelings. They hope that the school can organize more activities like that. Dean Mo Xiaonong congratulated the students on their progress and said that the school would try to coordinate the needs and expectations raised by the students. She also hoped that the students would abide by the relevant regulations in the school, especially the regulations on epidemic prevention and control, study hard during the school, and live up to the expectations of the school and teachers. At the end of the symposium, all the students spontaneously shouted "Long live the friendship between China and Pakistan ".
After a simple lunch, the staff held a series of fun games. In the tug-of-war game, teachers and students made all-out efforts, everyone in the shouts of "1, 2, 3" together, promoted the spirit of unity, stick to the end, never give up until the last moment, letting the activity achieve a small climax directly from the beginning. In the word guessing competition, the students' exaggerated performances caused bursts of laughter, while the students who did not achieve the ideal effect of word guessing had to carry out on-site learning after the competition. Finally, the students sang and danced with the music and had a happy day.
On the way back, the students were thrilled with the experience. The teachers told the students that the area of the activity was the new socialist countryside in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In recent years, China is implementing the rural revitalization strategy, and rural areas in various provinces of China are also getting better and better. At the same time, teachers hope students will study hard in China and work hard when they return to home, so as to make their own contribution to the development of their country and promote China-Pakistan friendship.
Due to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, international students will continue to adopt semi-closed management during the Spring Festival of 2022. Daily activities such as purchasing after school should strictly go through the procedures of asking for leave. ASEAN International School has staff on duty throughout the holidays to pay close attention to the study, life, physical and psychological conditions of the international students, so as to fulfill the responsibility of epidemic prevention and control, and show real care and love for the students.
