Recently, the ASEAN International School organized two batches of online recruitment interviews for international students. 114 applicants from 12 countries including Indonesia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Myanmar participated in the interview.

The interview was held online. After the applicants made a brief introduction to their relevant background, the ASEAN International School conducted a comprehensive investigation on the applicant in the fields of professional direction, Chinese proficiency, learning attitude, talent and hobbies. During the interview, the applicants expressed their strong desire to study in Guangxi and study in GTVTC. Through the interview, the ASEAN International School fully understood the applicant's Chinese proficiency, professional intention, academic background and other information, and finally admitted 72 international students of grade 2022.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, there were many problems and challenges in the international admission , but the ASEAN International School endeavored to make progress in the face of difficulties, innovated the online enrollment publicity, and explores diversified overseas publicity channels. In particular, the online training for ASEAN countries has been widely praised by schools and students in ASEAN countries. While improving the international reputation ion of GTVTC, the number and quality of international students enrolled of GTVTC has also greatly improved.
