The College held Online Opening Ceremony of the Class 2022 of International School

      On October 28, the opening ceremony for international students of class 2022 was held in Room 707, Information Building, Yuanhu Campus. There were 73 international students from 16 countries including Pakistan, East Timor, and Cambodia, and 15 current international students attended the opening ceremony online and offline respectively. President Li Wenyong attended the event and delivered a speech. Qiu Wencheng, Director of the School's Student Affairs Office, Xiao Ming, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Mo Xiaonong, Dean of ASEAN International School, and all teachers attended the ceremony. The event was also attended by Mr. Sutarman, Principal of Sumedang Logistics High School in Indonesia.




 



On behalf of the college, President Li Wenyong welcomed the 2022 freshmen to join the big family of Transport College. He introduced the overall situation of the college, hoping that the international students will take advantage of the momentum, learn skills by combining knowledge and action, promote cultural exchanges with their own actions, and help build a global community of shared future.

A total of 7 students from Sangmodan Logistics High School in Indonesia were admitted by our college. Mr. Sutarman, the principal, expressed his gratitude to our college for the meticulous organization and thoughtful arrangement during the period from admission to online learning, and wished all the new students to learn Chinese language, culture and professional skills, and become available talents for promoting international friendly exchanges.



Professor Mo Xiaonong, Dean of ASEAN International School, introduced the international schooling of the school, urged the students to cherish the hard-won learning opportunities, and encouraged them to overcome the difficulties and achieve success in their studies.



Yan Wenneng, a freshman representative from Cambodia, said that he cherishes the opportunity to study in China very much and will definitely overcome difficulties and study hard. Hassan, a representative from Pakistan, gave a speech on behalf of students at school, recalling the wonderful time at Transport College in the past three years, expressed gratitude for the high-quality learning environment created by the school for international students, and wished new students to realize their dreams in Transport College.



It is reported that our college actively explores cooperation with overseas vocational schools in this year's international student recruitment work, further optimizes the recruitment methods, and continuously exploring new prospects for international student enrollment and talent cultivation.
