From September 15th to 21st, the 20th China ASEAN Expo, China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (referred to as the "Two Sessions"), as well as the 2023 China ASEAN Vocational Education Joint Exhibition and Forum (referred to as the "ASEAN Vocational Education Joint Exhibition") were held in Nanning. According to the work arrangements of the "Two Sessions" and the vocational education joint exhibition, the College received 16 foreign guests from Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, and Macau, and held a meeting on deepening international cooperation on September 16. We reviewed our long-term good cooperation with foreign guests from our partner universities, ITENAS, Indonesia and Taiping University of Vietnam, and looked forward to a better future together.

At the meeting, Vice President Chen Zhengzhen pointed out that Guangxi had the geographical advantage, which faces ASEAN and connects the "the Belt and Road", and shoulders the mission of vigorously implementing RECP and building a community of shared future between China and ASEAN. 2023 is the 10th anniversary of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the idea of building a closer China ASEAN community of shared future, the 20th anniversary of the China ASEAN Expo, and the first year of Guangxi's building an open, cooperative and innovative highland for ASEAN oriented vocational education. The College will seize the dual development opportunities of the construction of Guangxi's "strong transportation area" and the construction of an innovative highland for vocational education, and strive to build a high-level vocational school that is "inseparable from Guangxi, recognized by the transportation industry, and accessible to ASEAN", so as to provide the wisdom and strength of transportation vocational teachers for the construction of a China ASEAN community of shared future. In addition, Vice President Chen Zhengzhen introduced the College's internationalization achievements and related honors and awards to foreign guests, and expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation between the two cooperating universities.

Dr. Soni Darmawan, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering Planning, ITENAS, pointed out that Indonesia's transportation system and infrastructure construction are in a period of vigorous development. He looked forward to working with the College in the future to carry out vocational skills training in the established "the Belt and Road" Transportation Infrastructure Development Training Base, so as to provide strong intellectual and technical support for Indonesia's transportation and construction industries.

Recently, the "China-Vietnam Institute of Modern Craftsmanship for New Energy Vehicles" jointly applied by China and Vietnam has been approved by the Guangxi Department of Education, and has been awarded the license by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region for implementation at the China ASEAN Vocational Education Summit Forum. Therefore, Dr. HA VAN DONG, Director of the Training Department of Taiping University of Vietnam, stated that in the future, the two universities will rely on the China-Vietnam Institute of Modern Craftsmanship for New Energy Vehicles to collaborate with Chinese automotive companies to enter Vietnam and serve the international production capacity cooperation between China and Vietnam in the field of new energy vehicles.

Foreign guests from Indonesia and Vietnam also visited the Kunlun campus to visit the Road and Bridge Training Factory, Highway Construction and Management Command Center, Automobile Training Center, Logistics Training Base, and Rail Operation Training Center, having a better understanding of the College.
