Recently, in the Guangxi International Student Dictation Competition, the College's international students competed with 107 international students from 22 universities and 15 countries on the same stage, and got good grades. They won one second prize and two third prizes in Group B’s individual competition, and one excellent prize in Group C’s individual competition. As the only vocational college participating in Group A’s competition, our team was calm and steady, and ultimately won the precious third prize in Group A with fourth place among the 12 teams representing the highest level of the competition.

In this competition, the College has selected 5 students to participate in the individual competition according to the competition system requirements, of which 3 will form a team to participate in the team competition. The team competition is divided into Group A and Group B. Group A is a school representative team with players who have passed the HSK5 level. The vocabulary level of the competition questions is higher, the examiner speaks faster, and the requirements for the players are higher. As the only vocational college to participate in the Class A competition, the College demonstrated good psychological resilience and preparation level in competitions with representative teams from 12 undergraduate universities, including Guangxi University and Guangxi Normal University. In the end, we won the third prize in the Class A with the fourth-place result, demonstrating the good results of the College's Chinese language teaching for international students.

The Guangxi International Student Chinese Character Dictation Competition is organized by the Foreign Student Education Management Professional Committee of the Guangxi Higher Education Association. The aim is to deepen the understanding of Chinese character writing art and Chinese culture among international students, improve their Chinese language learning level, and promote the cultivation of international students who are knowledgeable and friendly towards China. The school has always attached great importance to the education of international students. In this competition, contestants were carefully selected and guidance teachers were invited to guide the preparation in a targeted manner. After careful preparation and repeated practice by the students, they got such good grades. In the future, the school will continue to strengthen the education of international students, adhere to the "Chinese + vocational skills" as the starting point, and is committed to training more international transportation skilled talents who serve the "the Belt and Road" and know about China, appreciate China and help China.
