On the morning of March 18th, the College held a training ceremony for Thai teachers in new energy vehicle technology at the Kunlun campus. The College president Li Wenyong and the chairman of the board of directors of Chiang Mai Vocational and Technical College in Thailand, Ponlit Chindaluang, attended the class opening ceremony. 20 trainees from Thai vocational colleges and relevant department heads from the College attended the class opening ceremony.
president Li Wenyong gave a speech at the opening ceremony, and warmly welcomed the arrival of Thai students and introducing the development process, professional settings, and educational characteristics of the College. He stated that the College has a comprehensive transportation vocational education discipline system and an international talent cultivation system, focusing on cultivating transportation technology skilled talents with language proficiency, strong skills, cultural integration, and international recognition. The College will fully leverage its own advantages to provide high-quality new energy vehicle technology training for Thai teachers.
Ponlit Chindaluang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chiang Mai Technical College from the Northern Education Alliance of Thailand, gave a speech as well. He expressed the appreciation to the College for providing strong support for this new energy vehicle technology course training. He hopes that Thai students can cherish this learning opportunity, master the core knowledge and skills of new energy vehicle technology, and contribute to the development of Thailand's new energy vehicle industry.
Chatchawan Poonnakun, Director of the Strategic Development and Vocational Education Cooperation Office of the Northeast Thailand Vocational Education Alliance, delivered a speech on behalf of the trainees.
This training will last for 10 days and includes basic knowledge of new energy vehicles, operation of high-voltage equipment, power battery technology and management, drive motor and control technology, and other aspects. During the training period, students will also visit Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturing enterprises to understand the current development status and future trends of China's new energy vehicle industry.
