International Student Management Office has a class teacher and an instructor, who is in charge of the implementation of the management work of international students.

Responsibilities of Class Teacher：

1.Organize enrolment education of new students and help them adapt to their new study life in China.

2.Conduct ideological education to international students, teach them to obey the rules of college, help them establish correct outlooks on world, life and values and promote their all-round development of morality, intellect, physique, aesthetics, labor and so on.

3.Build study atmosphere, assist teachers to pay attention to international students’ study, help international students to master scientific learning methods, lead and supervise them to develop good study habits, to obey classroom discipline and to form a nice atmosphere of class and study.

4. Organize international students to carry out extracurricular activities, such as social practice, entertainment performances and sports events.

5.Develop international students’ mental health education, propagate knowledge of mental health, detect their psychological problems in time and provide necessary psychological guidance and help. 

6.Finish other work assigned by the supervisor and assist administrator to finish other tasks.

Responsibilities of Administrator:

1.Carry out student financial aid work, qualify students with financial difficulties, allocate scholarship and financial aid, lead them to take work-study program and contribute to their growth and development.

2.Integrate and manage international students’ religious affairs, learn their religious beliefs and lead them to hold religious activities at the appropriate time and place.

3.Strengthen international students’ logistic support under the coordination with other relevant divisions and learn students’ special diet and living habits.

4.Provide education and guidance in time to hot issues that international students pay attention to, resolve contradictions and conflicts, deal with unexpected problems and maintain the campus safe and stable.

5.Build and manage international student files which include their academic, family, mental health, rewards, punishments and social work information. Promote the scientific, institutionalized and normalized process of international student management.

6.Organize international students to take physical examination and apply for foreigner residence permit.

7.Finish other work assigned by the supervisor and assist class teacher to finish other tasks.
