Recently, the International Affairs Division went to Beijing to discuss with the vice dean of the School of International Education of Beijing Jiaotong University about international cooperation in running schools.
Due to the pandemic, the recruitment of international students has been greatly impacted this year. The two sides discussed the joint cooperation on training international talents and "Going Global" technical skills training, aiming to jointly train globally skilled talents with solid theoretical foundation and strong practical ability.
The responsible persons of the International Affairs Division also went to international schools for college enrollment. Among them, the principal and vice principal of Pakistan International School were very interested in the transportation and cultural exchange program of GTVTC and hoped to recommend more outstanding international students to study and exchange in GTVTC after the epidemic.
The responsible persons of the International Affairs Division also commended with the education counsellor of Pakistan on the posters and videos made by the students of GTVTC during the winter vacation of this year, which have received high attention from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Guangxi News Network and all sectors of society. Additionally, The Education Counsellor of Pakistan thanked GTVTC for its care and education for the Pakistan students. What’s more, the Counsellor also said that China and Pakistan are working hard to build the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and technical skills training and TVET will become the focus of cooperation. And he hopes to promote cooperation with GTVTC on technical training of transportation projects.
