The 7th Education Plus China (Changsha) International Vocational Education Conference and Industry Education Integration Expo was held in Changsha, Hunan Province from August 15th to 18th, 2023. Mr. Chen Zhengzhen, Vice Presidentof the College, Mr. Huang Gang, Deputy Dean of ASEAN International School, and some teachers from other schools of the College attended the relevant forums and meetings.

This year, 3 projects of the College were submitted to apply the Laos National Vocational Standards Co-construction Project and got approval, including one independently developed project and two participation ones. After the preliminary review and re-evaluation jointly organized by the EducationPlus Conference Organizing Committee and the Ministry of Education and Sports of Laos, the College won the award of "Laos Vocational Standard Development Demonstration Construction Unit" and received the honor at the "the Belt and Road" National Vocational Standard Co construction Academic Seminar. A total of 57 standards were listed as The Laos National Vocational Standards Co-construction Project, with 97 Colleges participating in the co-construction. Among them, 17 Colleges have won the award of "Laos Vocational Standards Development Demonstration Construction Unit".

At the 2023 High-Quality Development Seminar for Higher Vocational Education in the New Era, the College was approved for two UK vocational education internationalization special projects and was awarded the "2023 International Professional Standards Academic Contribution Award". At the academic seminar of the Global Craftsmen Alliance and the establishment meeting of the Global Craftsmen Alliance (Asia Pacific), the College was awarded the Executive Director Unit of the Global Craftsmen Alliance (Asia Pacific).

This conference aims to share the best practical experience of international vocational education, connect high-quality resources of vocational education, promote academic exchanges through international summits and professional forums, explore future trends in the industry, and jointly promote the modernization development of vocational education. The series of honors and awards the College has received will further promote its participation in the development and implementation of international vocational standards, and also to some extent enhance the College's international influence in the field of vocational education.
